BEHIND THE SUSSEX SKIN SPECIALIST

Hiya! My names Amelia and this is my story of why I started my business in the skin care industry.

I have always LOVED skin care, however, I have not always had good skin or used the correct products. 

​

I, like many teenagers, struggled with acne from age 11-15. I tried everything to clear my skin myself from multiple acids every night (yikes) to washing my face 3 times a day with harsh scrubs (another yikes) and ultimately nothing worked.

​

I was so unhappy and insecure about my skin I would wake up early to do a full face of makeup for secondary school - every day! I wouldn't leave the house without it.

Eventually my mum agreed to take me to the doctor who offered me the contraceptive pill, which did work for 5 years but came with a LOT of side effects and with everything I know now, the pill is definitely not a solution for skin issues, it is more of a band aid, (much like other acne medication and prescriptions) because as soon as I stopped taking it, my breakouts were back with vengeance!

Since completing my Skin Specialist training at one of the UK's leading training academies, I now understand acne can be triggered by multiple things and there are different ways to treat it.

That is where I come in to help you on your journey to the skin of your dreams through expert knowledge, medical grade treatments and ongoing support.

 

 I am so incredibly passionate as I know how hard it can be when you don't feel good in your own skin and I couldn't be happier now that I get to help others.
